What is VTVCARE?

VTVCARE is a movement created by VTV Family Outreach Foundation (501c3). VTVFOF was formed by a majority of the families and victim-survivors impacted by the mass shooting at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007.

Our Mission

Mass shootings gravely impact our society by physically and psychologically traumatizing people and imposing substantial unforeseen financial burdens that no individual should have to bear.

Our mission is to assist victim-survivors with their long-term physical and psychological trauma-related expenses.

Our Objective

To provide financial assistance to as many mass–shooting survivors suffering from long-term physical and psychological trauma-related injuries nationwide as proceeds from the VTVCARE endowment fund will allow annually.

Our efforts don’t end with meeting survivor’s financial needs. Far more than that, we’re here to provide a lifelong network of support and resources to help you heal, recover, and reclaim your life.

Our Goal

To initiate a $1 million endowment campaign, 100% of which will be donated to mass shooting survivors to provide financial assistance for their long-term physical and psychological trauma-related care needs.
